On The March Again- Remembering President MKO Abiola 13 Years Later

The Campaign for Democracy (CD) yesterday had a rally beside the grave of Nigeria's democracy hero, Chief MKO Abiola, who was murdered after winning Nigeria's free and freest election on June 12 1993. The 13th anniversary was held at late Abiola's Lagos Country home, Ikeja.

The event was led by Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka, and in attendance were Hafsat Abiola , Joe Oke-Odumakin and pro-democracy activists.
